Your passport and visa are your most valuable travel documents.

• Hide your passport and visa securely. Keep it on your person - you may need to use it as an identification document. 
• Do not leave your passport or visa in a handbag or exposed
• If you are traveling with a group, each traveler should keep his or her own passport
• Make an extra photocopy of your passport. Keep the photocopy separate from the original
