GI Bill and Hazelwood Recipients
GI Bill
GI benefits vary depending on the type of program selected; however, in all cases, the following three conditions must be met:
• Students must be enrolled in courses that will apply to their program
• Students enrolled in programs at the "host" school in the foreign country must be approved
• Students’ studying abroad must be in enrolled in programs that are part of their degree plans to receive VA benefits
• Students enrolled in programs at the "host" school in the foreign country must be approved

The GI Bill will only pay students tuition and fees and not Study Abroad Program Fees.
Hazelwood Recipients
The GI Bill will only pay students tuition and fees and not Study Abroad Program Fees. Study Abroad program fees are not covered by the Hazelwood Act.
