Alamo Community Colleges District has different types of financial aid that students may apply to their Study Abroad program fees.   

Any Financial Aid may be transferable to a Study Abroad program affiliated with the Alamo Community Colleges District. Students should contact the Office of International Programs at (210) 485- 0084 for more information. 

Grants 

Federal Pell Grant - A Federal Pell Grant is a need-based grant awarded to eligible undergraduate students who complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) - The Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG) is a need-based grant made available through each college’s resources. Priority is given to students with little or no Federal Pell Grant eligibility, and funds are on a first-come, first-served basis.  Funds are available for Texas, out-of-state, and foreign students and can range from $200-$2000 per year.

Texas Educational Opportunity Grant Program (TEOG) -  The Texas Educational Opportunity Grant (TEOG) is a need-based grant designed to assist students enrolled at Texas Public Two-Year colleges.  Students who are eligible to participate may continue to receive funds for 1) up to four years from their first award, 2) up to 75 attempted hours, or 3) until completion of an associate's degree, whichever occurs first.
