Airport Security

To ensure your security, all participants will undergo a screening at the checkpoint.  Planning and packing properly can simplify the screening process and ease your experience with airport security.  Ensure your checked luggage has a tag with your email, phone, and address in addition to TSA Recognized Locks. While it is important to lock your luggage, remember that you should not bring anything you cannot afford to lose, including expensive, irreplaceable or sentimental items. Be careful not to bring any prohibited items - available at TSA - "What Can I Bring."

Luggage requirements may vary per program based on the specific airlines and costs of flights at the time of program reservation. Luggage fees and allowances will be discussed during the student’s country-specific orientation. Luggage fees are the students’ responsibilities and not part of any program fees. We recommend traveling light and checking baggage size and limits with your airline.
